Divine Mercy Cenacle

God's greatest attribute is His infinite Divine Mercy. Jesus told St. Faustina of his Divine Mercy and asked her to have an image painted of him as the "Divine Mercy." The image included the words "Jesus, I trust in you." Jesus also told St. Faustina that, before he returns as a Just Judge, he comes to those seeking him as the Divine Mercy.

Who is Saint Faustina?
Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska is a Polish nun, who in the 1930's received messages from Our Lord about God's infinite mercy. Jesus also asked St. Faustina to write down in a diary the many prayers, exhortations, poems and descriptions of God's mercy and love for us. One powerful prayer is known as the "Chaplet of Divine Mercy." St. Faustina was the first saint canonized in new mil-lennium.

What is a Cenacle?
A "Cenacle" (from Latin cenaculum), is the Upper Room, a term used for the site of The Last Supper.  
A Divine Mercy Cenacle is a group of people who meet weekly to discover and share God's mercy in their lives, primarily in relation to the writings of St. Faustina.

What do you do at a Cenacle?
People, mostly laity from our parish, with different and diverse backgrounds, meet weekly for prayer, song, adoration, reading, and discussion of Scripture, Catechism and the writings of St. Maria Faustina in her diary.

The Holy Trinity Cenacle uses a guide book entitled the "Cenacle Formation Manual" to help select the readings and focus the discussions at each weekly meeting.

The Cenacle is not a study of St. Faustina, but rather involves a discussion of the words Jesus said to her, in the context of Scripture, the Catechism and our personal lives, to increase our individual holiness, perform works of mercy, and spread widely the message of God?s love for us and his Di-vine Mercy.

What happens next?
Those who regularly attend a Cenacle and are committed to Jesus as the Divine Mercy and the Eucharist are known as the "Eucharistic Apostles of the Divine Mercy." The Eucharistic Apostles of the Divine Mercy (EADM) emphasize and promote the concept that the Divine Mercy message is more than a devotion; it is a Way of Life! EADM spread the message of Divine Mercy through works of mercy in visiting the sick, praying over the dying, saving babies from abortion, feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, and many, many more activities.

"In the Old Covenant, I sent prophets wielding thunderbolts to my people. Today I am sending you with My Mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My merciful heart."
"My heart overflows with greate mercy for souls, and especially for poor sinners.  If only they could understand that I am the best of Fathers to them and that it is for them that the Blood and Water flowed from my heart as from a fro, a font over-flowing with mercy."
"My daughter, encourage souls to say the chaplet that I given to you.  It pleases me to grant everything they ask of me by saying the chaplet."
"At the hour of their death, I defend as my own glory every soul that will say this chaplet; or when other say if for a dying person, the indulgence is the same."
"Even if there were a sinner most harden, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from my infinite mercy."
