Hospital Ministry 

The Holy Trinity Hospital Ministry is now visiting both Methodist Hospital Stone Oak (MHSO) and North Central Baptist Hospital (NCBH).

For I was sick and you cared for me...(cf. Matthew 25:36)

Would you like to help us bring Jesus to the sick individuals in our community who cannot come to Him? Please join us in visiting the sick at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital and North Central Baptist Hospital. We provide prayers and Holy Communion for the Catholic patients there. Please consider sharing your time in this wonderful ministry!


 Please note the following requirements for our volunteers:

1. Be a registered member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church
2. Be a Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC)
3. Be commissioned as EMHC at Holy Trinity Catholic Church
4. Work under the training and supervision of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Chaplain's Office of the hospital.
5. Complete all required training for volunteers on sexual misconduct and safe environment from the Archdiocese of San Antonio.
6. Submit security screening forms through Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
7. Complete and submit volunteer form application at the hospital. This includes additional security screening form and vaccination records.
8. Once your application is accepted by the hospital, the hospital provides volunteer training. You will also shadow a hospital EMHC until both feel comfortable that you can minister on your own under an approved schedule.
